This project reflects a five-story mixed-use building near the Denver University campus, featuring 155 apartment units and an underground parking garage—meeting enterprise green requirements. The parking ramps utilized post-tensioned concrete slabs which reduced the floor depths required allowed for less excavation of the site. The structure itself comprises four levels of wood framing over two levels of post-tensioned concrete (one underground). A cantilevered pilaster system was used for the foundations to allow for a zero lot line, maximizing the building footprint and avoiding oversized piers. The larger footprint gave ample room for the lavish apartments and first-class amenities.
