This exciting project involved modifying an existing residential single family home into an office building for design professionals. This required not only reconfiguring the building’s existing basement and main level but also adding approximately 2,400 square feet in new second-floor office space. A covered outdoor deck space as also added. A desire for an open office floor plan and large conference room added to the complexity of the project and required alterations to framing, foundations, and the lateral system.
