This project consists of 303-unit market-rate apartments located within three-story wood frame structures. The facility offers custom-designed one, two, and three-bedroom units accompanied by a clubhouse and free-standing parking garages. Due to the presence of additional tuck under parking within the apartment buildings, special detailing was required for the lateral system which allowed the building to maintain the use of less expensive wood shear walls. The luxury apartment community sits on 16 acres and comprised of 22 two- and three-story buildings with 16 unique floor plans. To help alleviate issues with expansive soils and avoid more costly drilled piers, a post-tensioned slab on grade was utilized for the foundation.
