A standalone big box store featuring over 25,000 square feet, the overall structure was constructed adjacent to another building and thereby required offset footing to avoid impeding the neighboring facility. On a more granular level, construction included CMU walls and a steel-framed roof, as well as a two-story front entry with large stone columns and canopies. Special detail was utilized in the lateral system to allow the use of non-bearing shear walls at the interior of the building.
